Solar lighting with Proa and Popa

Solar lighting is an independent lighting system that is installed in outdoor areas. Solar luminaires incorporate a solar panel that, through its photovoltaic plates, captures the sun’s UV radiation and transforms it into electricity. With the need to change consumption patterns, solar lighting is a sustainable alternative that takes advantage of the sun’s natural and renewable energy and does not compromise resources or processes that can damage the environment.

Beneito Faure has a specific range of solar products, committed to sustainability and innovation in new products and lighting systems. Within this range we highlight Proa and Popa, solar led spotlights that adapt to all kinds of needs and lighting projects.

Popa is a solar led spotlight with two heights of 60cm and 100cm, designed to be installed in outdoor areas thanks to its high resistance to water and dust (IP54). It can be found marking paths, accentuating passageways, or delimiting spaces. It charges autonomously thanks to its rotating solar panel located on the top of the lamp. With a color temperature of 4,000K and a 120º beam of light, Popa provides an ambient and practical light in the environment. Its black and white finishes are perfect for integrating into any outdoor space.

Proa, with 1.6W of power, is a solar LED spotlight that is installed recessed in the wall and provides lighting in open areas. Like Popa, Proa is also powered by the energy absorbed by its solar panel during the day. Its 90º rotating ability allows you to create a fully customized lighting effect by being able to set the direction in which the light is projected. It has a color temperature of 4,000K and a 120º beam of light and is finished in white and matte black to blend in completely with its surroundings.

Both Proa and Popa include a motion sensor that informs the luminaire when to turn on when it detects a presence nearby and when to turn off after a period of time (between 8 seconds and 8 minutes), customizable by the user. In addition, both luminaires also have a twilight sensor that regulates their intensity according to the amount of light detected in the environment.

They can be found in outdoor areas exposed to the sun, so that they can be charged during the day and store the energy in their battery to be able to operate when it gets dark. Proa and Popa optimize lighting through energy efficiency with a decorative, elegant, and subtle touch.
