Casambi technology. Smart lighting
Casambi is a wireless lighting control system that brings comfort to any space. Its parameters can be modified through its intuitive app and a remote control. This makes it very easy for the user to control the lighting and adapt it to each moment of the day.
Smart lighting
Casambi is based on Bluetooth Low Energy wireless technology that provides a mesh network where all the intelligence of the system is replicated in each controller chip (node). This creates a system with no single points of failure and, with a range between devices of up to 30 meters, it is possible to reach an unlimited distance.
Smart lighting, apart from providing comfort, allows a better use of electricity and a reduction in energy consumption. Casambi allows an installation with less wiring than a traditional system and it adapts to the products that are already installed, a great advantage and ease for the user. In the same way, luminaires can be added or removed from the Casambi equipment, without having to modify the installation or contacting a technician.
Functioning
This technology is incorporated into our luminaires and it is suitable for our led strips Fine, acting as a node for different parameters. The configuration of these, as well as the entire network of devices, is managed through the Casambi application, which also allows an extensive light control: the modification of the red, green, blue and white colors, and the light intensity of the monochromatic strips.
It is also possible to add the desired luminaires in a scene and assign them preset light levels, colors or color temperatures and recall this scene whenever desired via the remote control. This battery-operated wireless switch has four configurable buttons. Its controllable parameters are turning the luminaires on and off, dimming or increasing the intensity of the light, and changing the color temperature of the product.
While Tuya technology is ideal for home use, Casambi can support intelligent lighting control of an entire building. Beneito Faure is currently finishing outlining its new catalog for 2022, a launch with great innovations in smart lighting.
